Original form
Embroidered patch
Idris was an embroidered cape, once upon a time. Worn by the warmest of souls, one with a warm laugh and a mischievous side. Idris never quite found out why they had left the campsite so urgently to leave their belongings behind, and tries not to think they were simply left behind. Meeting the Esk
Ikkit was the very first thing Idris truly saw, their memory existing of nothing but senses and hazy feelings. The creature was curious to Idris, doing things Idris did not quite understand yet at that time, only later finding out Ikkit was joking around. The other
Ikkit
Idris may have taken to Ikkit perhaps a bit too fast from the start. The odd Esk didn't offer Idris an explanation nor any true guidance, and yet Idris felt thankful to this strange creature that had decided to animate them. The treshold
Shaping their environment
Idris is know in their surroundings as a kind Esk that will welcome just about anyone, but will also take liberty to mess with them when they feel like it. While Idris takes no active action to care for their boundary, they end up doing just that by little actions they don't even have knowledge of, but others notice. They are seen as a good and warm force by others, the knowledge that Idris is a dependable warm soul never quite reaching Idris' own ears. |
Boundary
Overgrown campsite
Idris' boundary is just about as chaotic as they are. Overgrown with greenery all around, but traces of human activity can still be found, usually in the form of wooden structures decorating Idris' forest. Idris has taken a liking to them and can be found relaxing in them quite often. The only reason these structures can still be found in the first place is Idris' own doing, going out to restore them to their old glory if elements such as a storm broke them down. Losing their way
Idris had been left there until their cloth was stained by the weather, ripped apart by animals until their embroidered patterns were no longer. The memory of their owner, however, will not desintegrate so quickly. The transformation
It was Ikkit that found the embroidered patch in the middle of the forest, signs of human activity lingering nearby in a scattered campfire and a handful of broken down wooden structures. Ikkit must have taken an interest, having come to the conclusion that the embroidered patch in particular would make for a fine Esk. Their purpose
Idris is a rather carefree Esk, wanting nothing more than to explore, have fun, and mess with some poor souls along the way. A life of enjoyment is their purpose, and they will do their umost best to live to the fullest and gather as many experiences as possible. Perhaps then, they can finally comprehend what happened. Their haunt
First time outside their Boundary
Idris was a curious soul from the very start. It didn't take long for them to curiously peek out through the forest, into what laid behind. The seemingly endless stretch of water enticed them into diving down below, marking the beginning of Idris' endless wanderlust. |
